About Me
👋 Hi, I’m Randi
Welcome to rkeytech.io.
I’m a Cloud Architect, Consultant, Developer, DevSecOps advocate, and mentor who enjoys solving complex problems and sharing practical knowledge with the wider technology community.

This is my digital notebook, a place where I share the things I’ve learned throughout my career and a way of giving back to my community. Here you’ll find technical blogs, architecture and engineering write-ups, code examples, best practices, and recordings of my community talks and conference sessions. My goal is to create practical, experience-driven content that helps others learn, build better software, and stay current with modern technologies.
I’ve spent many years working across different industries, helping people and organisations solve a wide variety of challenges. While technology is often part of the solution, I’ve learned that it isn’t always the solution. The best outcomes come from understanding the people, the problem, and the context before choosing the technology. That’s the mindset I bring to every project, every conversation, and every article I write.
I’m still an engineer at heart and genuinely enjoy break and building things, exploring new technologies, and continuously learning. I embrace AI as a tool, not as a replacement for experience. Some code samples or examples in here may be assisted by AI, just as we’ve embraced IDEs, IntelliSense, debuggers, and spell checkers over the years. But every blog or talk begins with a real problem, a real lesson, or a real experience. I enjoy the craft of writing and believe thoughtful, experience-driven content is what moves our industry forward. Someone still needs to ask the hard questions, solve the problems, and share those lessons so that both people and AI can continue to learn.
As a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and regular speaker at user groups and technology conferences, I enjoy sharing real-world experiences and helping others grow in their careers. Whether you’re new to the industry or a seasoned professional looking for practical insights, I also offer mentoring. Much of the content on this site is drawn from practical project work, lessons learned in the field, and the technologies I’m currently exploring, including cloud architecture, Azure, security, DevSecOps, Microsoft Foundry, and modern software engineering practices.
